La Cupa
A traditional farmhouse in Le Marchè, Italy
This is our local village, only 10 minutes on foot down the hill from the house, 2 minutes in the car. There are many shops for your daily provisions and an abundance of good restaurants.
There is a small family beach, some of it with deck chairs, some without. There are lots of rocks to climb on and a very safe swimming area. The beach itself has a few cafes and bars to escape the intense sunshine or enjoy a gelato or two.

Throughout the entire area, there are many quaint and pretty hilltop towns, our favourites are Grottamare Alta and Cupra Marittima Alta.
Further afield, there is the wonderful city of Ascoli Piceno that has one of the most beautiful squares in the whole of Italy.
