Finding our paradise

Having spent many happy years looking after a friend's property in the Niccone Valley in Umbria, we decided it was time to take the plunge and invest in our own place. In April 2001, we begun our search on the Adriatic coast in Le Marche (half way down the Italian boot on the east).  In December of that same year, we became the proud owners of a much neglected farmhouse, whose most recent occupants were a shepherd and his sheep.
